Cripping* Youth Ministry: Supplemental Study Guide for Groups

$0.00

What would it look like to read about disabled young people's stories in community, and to practice the hospitality the book calls for while you do it?

This study guide walks groups through the four movements of Cripping* Youth Ministry: Lament, Protest, Praise, and Prophecy. Each section pairs the chapters to read with a core idea, opening reflections drawn from the contributors, and discussion questions for your group. A short set of notes on hospitality and access helps you prepare the room before the first gathering.

It's written for pastors, professors, youth ministers, and small-group leaders. You don't need to be an expert in disability to use it, just a willingness to listen and to make space for hard questions. Two models are included: a 16-week study for academic settings and a shorter series for congregations and ministry teams.

Content and design by Carmelle Beaugelin Caldwell, with revisions by editors Erin Raffety and Justin Forbes. Cover art by Olga Ledis.
