About the Podcast

The Missing Voices podcast emerged from the Missing Voices Project at Flagler College's Center for Religion and Culture—an initiative dedicated to studying and addressing the marginalization of disabled Christians in church life.

Through conversations with scholars, practitioners, disabled advocates, and faith leaders, we explore:

  • Disability Justice in Faith Communities — What does true inclusion look like beyond ramps and reserved seating?

  • Intersectional Theology — How do race, gender, class, and disability intersect in religious spaces?

  • Practical Ministry — Real strategies for building communities of belonging

  • Personal Stories — First-person accounts of navigating faith with disability
